Welcome to the Department of Tamil IDHAYA COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE FOR WOMEN,PUDUPALAYAM. As you find your way through our website I would like to inform you that department of tamil consists of faculty, staff and students committed to excellence and success.Tamil department started in the year 2018 for UG classes,. Every year we are conducting seminars in the name of ‘SEMOZHI PAYLARANGAM’ for the purpose of developing the students knowledge and also we are conducting special programs for the development of students and faculty members.
The department offers Tamil as a Part I Language Subject for Commerce, Basic Sciences and Management Related Disciplines. The current strength of Part I Tamil students has crossed 750. The department is committed to the growth of the students . Many students in Tamil language have secured more than 90% of marks in the university examination. We encourage the students to take part in inter college. Competitions to boost up their all developmental activities.
