• Citizen Consumer Club is a consumer forum of civil supplies and consumer protection department, Government of TamilNadu.
• The Citizen Consumer Club will work on the motivational zeal of consumer groups and on the case of creating awareness among students at very young age through them the general public.

• To enable students understand fundamental rights of citizen and make them realise and learn the fundamental duties of a good citizen.
• To inject knowledge and skill relating to consumer right among our college students and to impact knowledge on product standards, product quality and about markets.
• To make them aware of laws enacted for protection/welfare of consumers and enforcement authorities concerned.
• To build a base of enlightened citizen consumer as the foundation of future India.
• Bring awareness and realization about duties and responsibilities as citizen of India.

The mission of the consumer club of our college is to educate the students to act as healthy consumers by making them aware about their rights and redress mechanisms and to act as beacons for the society.

• Bring awareness and responsible about duties and responsibilities as Citizens of India.
• Spread awareness about the right and responsibilities of Citizens and consumers as provided in the constitution of India, Consumer protection act, 1986 and other Indian Laws.
• Mobilize and in still right-consciousness, confidence to question violation of citizen and consumer rights and fight for justice.
• Impart knowledge about real life situations and to enable to development of skill to handle citizen and consumer issues.
• Install concern for environment around us as citizens and consumers and sustainable consumption habits.
