On 11th February at 8:00am we have inaugurated the youth year in our college by Rev.Fr.Pancras, Chairman of Loyola Academy, Iyampalayam. Rev Sr. Sara Jasmine the Principal graced the occasion.
The program started with prayer song. After that Rev. Fr. Pancras hoisted the youth year flag and addressed the gathering. Before hoisting the flag one of our student explained about the meaning of five colors which is in the flag
- Green – Emphasize the need to protect
- Blue – Emphasize Justice
- Red – Emphasize Charity
- Yellow – Emphasize Awareness of Culture, Food and Language
- Orange – Emphasize Energy and Joy
- The symbols in the flag emphasize equalities of men and women.
He told to use the multimedia for the personal progress of our nation. Pledge was taken to respect the flag and to lead the moral life of Jesus Christ.
